Instagram has already kicked lots of other social platforms’ rear ends as far as user amount and activity is concerned. It’s already bigger than Snapchat, it stole millions of users from Twitter, and many more. It has already reached 700 million users, which is an impressive amount. So obviously, more and more people are joining Instagram on a daily basis. Because of this, it’s really important to start mastering the tactics ot make your account stand out among all the others.
One of the most important things you should do is limit your content to one theme, one very specific thing. If you tend to upload pictures of architecture, stick to that. If people start following you it’s because they like your architecture pictures. If you suddently change to fashion photography, for example, your followers might not be too happy about it.
But the type of content isn’t the only important thing. You also need to upload frequently. Apparently, accounts that tend to grow quite fast are those that upload one picture per day. That might seem hard, but you don’t have to choose one every day, you can make a sort of album and upload periodically.
And, most importantly, don’t forget to interact with your followers and with other accounts you might follow. It’s a great way to engage in the community and become more know.
